Pretend that you are Smith interviewing one of the individuals that I assigned you to deal with in class today. Write a letter to a close friend describing that character's personality and behavior, paying close attention to her/his language, pronunciation, choice of words, idiosyncrasies, hair, dress, gestures, and mannerisms. Indicate to your friend your opinion of that individual and how you plan to portray him/her in your production. Link the letter to your Portfolio page.

Henry K. Rice "Youth Coordinator"

Henry is a youth coordinator who seems to be pretty laid back, and not too heated, like some others I've interviewed. He's dressed in a black hat and a red vest with darkened jeans. He tends to talk in a form of drawl like how we sometimes have that southern slang, you know? Anyways, he's pretty decent at expressing things, really puts color into his expressionism! Great interview so far. He's telling me about his experience with some activist who's name I can't recall. He called him "Richie Green." He talks like someone who hangs on the street, definitely not a Harvard Graduate. He seems to like to hang back and not engage directly in confrontation. An interesting character, to be sure. I should bring him back for a follow up. Now there's an Idea...
I'll get back to you.
